Job Description -

Key Responsibilities -
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings—including plans, elevations, sections, and
construction details—for retail, entertainment, and real estate projects using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent).
• Develop comprehensive working drawings and construction documentation, ensuring consistency with design intent and practical execution.
• Create presentation and schematic drawings to support concept design and client reviews.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), interior design, and site teams, integrating their inputs into project drawings.
• Conduct site visits to take measurements, verify details, and resolve discrepancies between design and site conditions.
• Revise and update drawings in response to feedback, design modifications, and construction progress.
• Maintain organized archives of drawings, ensuring proper version control and
documentation.
• Ensure compliance of all drawings with applicable building codes, local regulations, and internal design standards.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings, municipal submission documents, and other project deliverables.
• Support the estimation and BOQ (Bill of Quantities) team by providing accurate dimensional details from drawings.
• Liaise with clients, contractors,



and consultants to clarify design details, address queries, and provide technical support.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience (15+ years) as a draughtsman or CAD technician, preferably within the
real estate or retail sector. Experience in high-rise residential, commercial, or entertainment
(cinema) projects will be considered an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; familiarity with Revit or other 3D/BIM software is highly desirable.
• Excellent technical drawing skills, including detailing, sectioning, and finishing details (e.g.,
lobby, façade, interior elements).
• Sound knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and standard building codes.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work to scale.
• Certification from the Directorate General of Training will be an added benefit.
• Robust communication and coordination skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with
architects, engineers, site teams, and clients.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple drawing sets simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for documentation and drawing records.
