Consultant Ophthalmologist – Cataract, Refractive & Glaucoma Specialist

Qualification

• MS Ophthalmology

• DNB Ophthalmology

• Fellowship in Cataract / Refractive Surgery / Glaucoma (Preferred)

Registration

• Valid NMC / State Medical Council Registration

• Experienced candidates preferred

• Fellowship-trained consultants are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and OPD consultations

• Perform Phaco Cataract Surgery independently

• Diagnose and manage Glaucoma patients, including medical and surgical treatment

• Evaluate and manage Refractive Errors and perform refractive procedures as per expertise

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care

• Counsel patients regarding surgical options and treatment plans

• Coordinate with optometrists, OT staff,



and hospital management

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure adherence to quality standards

Skills Required

• Expertise in Phaco Cataract Surgery

• Strong clinical knowledge in Glaucoma Management

• Experience in Refractive Surgery will be an added advantage

• Excellent patient counselling and communication skills

• Professional, ethical, and patient-centric approach
