Role Overview

Operational and strategic leader accountable for the performance, profitability, and delivery excellence of the 2,000+ member Madurai production facility. Directs all functional heads to optimize multi-disciplinary global project lifecycles, enforce absolute SOP compliance, and scale regional capacity.

Key Responsibilites

Resource Planning & TH Coordination: Capacity Engineering & Technical Governance: Formulate macro resource deployment, scaling, and ramp-up/ramp-down strategies for a 500+ resource business unit. Coordinate directly with Technical Heads (TH) to balance production workloads, map cross-functional domain capabilities, and eliminate bench latency through predictive redeployment.

Inter-Departmental Synergy: Foster a cohesive, collaborative culture among Production, Admin, HR, IT, Quality, and Training to resolve day-to-day operational blocks seamlessly.

Financial Stewardship: Stand strictly accountable for the location's macro revenue generation, utilization metrics, and overall efficiency targets. Supervise and approve multi-week resource forecasts, billable work-hour allocations via internal systems (BPMS/Prohans), timely client invoicing, and variation notice scope management.

Global Project Delivery: Oversee the strategic execution roadmap for high-value, complex global infrastructure, data center, and mega-commercial projects. Act as the ultimate onsite destination for delivery risk management, strategic timeline compressions, and client delivery escalations.

Standards & Compliance: Ensure that internal Quality Control (QC) processes and workflows align with local and international engineering codes (ASME, API, ISO, building statutory laws).

Technical Innovation & Upskilling: Drive the deployment of cutting-edge BIM software ecosystems, internal automation extensions (PIVDC), and generative AI/productivity tools within production pipelines. Collaborate with Technical and Training Heads to formulate forward-looking skill development plans.

Partner closely with Growth/Estimation Verticals to review high-value bids, analyze resource forecasts, and validate local capability bandwidth against pipeline demands. Maintain strong institutional relationships with premier global clients.

KPI Framework: Direct accountability for the location's macro metrics:
• Financial: 100% Target Revenue and Billing Efficiency Achievement.
• Utilization: Minimum 7-Hour Productive Time threshold across all team members.
• Operational: 4-Week Look-Ahead Plan adherence baseline of >95%.
• Quality: Sub-1% Rework rates and >90% CSAT/Feedback metrics.

Large-Scale Delivery Governance: Proven master-level capability in running a multi-thousand-member operations floor utilizing structural delegation and hierarchical reporting.

BIM & Digital Construction Domain Expertise: Proficient understanding of end-to-end BIM lifecycles (3D to 7D), virtual design workflows, and construction automation architectures.

Eligibility

Executive Financial Acumen: Proficient with large budget management, Capex/Opex alignment, yield engineering, and macro billing cycles.

Systems Proficiency: High familiarity with advanced corporate ERP frameworks, digital workflow tracking tools (BPMS/Prohans), and contemporary productivity architectures.

Required: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.

Desirable: Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Operations Management / General Management or equivalent executive leadership certification.

Eligibility: Experience

Required: Minimum 18–22 years of seasoned engineering design and project management experience within the AEC/BIM or engineering services landscape. At least 5+ years of active experience operating in a Center Head, Location Head, Delivery Director, or VP-level capacity where multiple senior functional business leads reported directly to them.

Eligibility: Scale

Required: Must cleanly showcase a professional history of successfully scaling or operating large execution centers holding an employee volume of 1,000 to 2,000+ resources.
