About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic TGT Computer Science Teacher to teach students in Classes 6–10. The ideal candidate will foster digital literacy, computational thinking, programming skills, and responsible technology usage through engaging, practical, and student-centered learning experiences aligned with the CBSE curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and deliver Computer Science lessons in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Teach topics including computer fundamentals, programming concepts, operating systems, networking, databases, cybersecurity, digital literacy, and emerging technologies.
- Introduce students to programming languages and coding platforms appropriate for middle and secondary school students.
- Design and conduct formative and summative assessments, practical examinations, projects, and assignments.
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic progress.
- Support students requiring additional academic assistance and enrichment.




- Supervise the effective use of the computer laboratory and ensure adherence to safety and usage protocols.
- Maintain records of laboratory equipment and software.
- Coordinate with the IT support team for the maintenance and troubleshooting of computer systems and peripherals.
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs), school events, workshops, and career development programmes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology across the curriculum.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications (BCA), or a related discipline from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of the CBSE Computer Science curriculum and programming concepts.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Experience

- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience as a Computer Science Teacher in a CBSE or reputed school.
