About the Role:
The Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. The ideal candidate should possess basic accounting knowledge, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and maintain daily financial transactions accurately.
- Assist in preparing vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payment entries.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain banking records.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related activities.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Verify bills, expense claims, and supporting documents.
- Assist in preparing reports required by management and auditors.
- Coordinate with internal departments for accounting-related requirements.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by the Accounts Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
