About the Role
We are hiring a Collection Executive to manage student fee collections, payment follow-ups, and customer communication. The ideal candidate should have experience in collections, accounts receivable, or customer support with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up with students/customers for pending payments via calls, emails, and Whats App.
- Collect outstanding dues and negotiate payment plans.
- Resolve payment-related queries professionally.
- Maintain collection records and payment commitments.
- Monitor overdue accounts and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Coordinate with Finance and Sales teams for payment reconciliation.
- Prepare daily and monthly collection reports.
- Achieve assigned collection targets.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Collections, Accounts Receivable, or Customer Support.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Tamil.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with CRM/ERP systems is an advantage.
- Solid negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
Preferred
- Experience in EdTech, Education, BFSI, or Financial Services.
- Immediate joiners or candidates serving up to a 15-day notice period preferred.
