1 Role- Trino/Starburst Platform Admin

1. Required Technical Skill Set - Trino / Presto Distributed SQL Engine Administration, Distributed SQL Engine Management, SQL Query Performance Tuning, Cluster Optimization, Security Configuration (LDAP, Kerberos, SSL), Monitoring & Troubleshooting, Linux Administration, Presto/Trino Connector Management

3 Desired Relevant Trino Experience- 4 to 6 years

5 Overall Experience- Less than 6 Years

6 Location of Requirement- Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

Trino Administration, Distributed SQL Engine Management, Hive & HDFS Integration, Connector Configuration (S3, Hive, Iceberg), Query Performance Tuning, Kerberos & LDAP Authentication, Linux/Unix Shell Scripting, Cluster Monitoring & Troubleshooting

Valuable-to-Have

Datawarehouse exposure, Python/Shell scripting





Responsibility/Expectations from the Role

- Experience between 4-6 years in below fields
- Strong experience in managing and supporting Trino clusters
- Good experience in handling large-scale distributed SQL workloads
- Installing, configuring and optimizing Trino engine and catalogs
- Integrating Trino with Hive, HDFS, S3, and other data sources
- Performing query performance tuning and cluster optimization
- Implementing security using Kerberos, LDAP, and SSL
- Monitoring cluster health and troubleshooting performance issues
- Managing catalog/connector configurations (Hive, Iceberg, S3, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix and Shell scripting
- Knowledge of best practices for distributed SQL systems
