- 3+ years of Front-end or full-stack developer experience
- 2+ years of recent ecommerce experience, as a frontend or full-stack developer (within the last 5 years)
- Advanced or Expert proficiency in all of the following skills: JSON, HTML, CSS3 / Sass, JavaScript, Github
- Also, experience with Liquid
- Proficient experience in JavaScript
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Good understanding of SEO principles
- A good eye for design and excellent attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- A strong understanding of UX design
- Experience with Python, Ruby, or PHP (and their respective frameworks)
- Experience building custom middleware and APIs
- Experience with Shopify's APIs
- Experience with Javascript Frameworks (React, Vue, Angular or other)
- Experience using Node.js
- Desirable Skills: Shopify experience, Liquid, React.js, REST API, graphQL API
- Bonus Skills: Headless experience, Recharge experience, Next.js
- Willingness to learn about the disciplines above that you don't have experience with.
- Demonstrated interest in DevOps
