- Diagnose and Repair: Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, repair or replace broken parts, and test system performance.
- Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine checkups, clean units, change filters, and calibrate controls.
- Customer Support: Explain repair options and costs to clients and deliver professional on-site service.
- Documentation: Keep clear logs of parts used, completed work orders, and equipment status
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in HVAC is preferred.
- Minimum 2–4 years of field or project experience in HVAC installation and troubleshooting.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
