What we do:

YEMI primarily focuses on manufacturing of Industrial Engines and sales and service of the Industrial Engines/Agricultural Products/ Marine (Small – Medium & Large) Engines. Additionally, YEMI is running a full-fledged R&D; center, with the vision of developing a global R&D; center in India and to provide the cost and technological merits of India to the Yanmar Group.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Research & Development

- Drive new product development (NPD) and improvement of existing products based on requirement
- Design, plan, and execute product trials, testing, and validation activities
- Ensure effective technology transfer from design to manufacturing
- Monitor industry trends, competitor developments, and emerging technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, QA, Sales)



to align product development with business requirement
- Ensure regulatory and compliance adherence in product design and development

After Sales & Filed Performance

- Lead after-sales strategy and service quality improvement.
- Analyze field issues, warranty failures, and customer complaints and drive root cause analysis (RCA)
- Ensure timely resolution of product issues with structured corrective actions
- Work closely with service teams, dealers, and OEM partners to strengthen service delivery
- Drive service campaigns, field improvement programs, and product upgrades
- Support development of training modules for service engineers and dealer networks
- Capture market feedback and integrate it into R&D; for continuous product enhancement

Production and supplier improvement (Good to have)

- Lead production process improvement and supplier improvement activity

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

- Should have worked in similar area for at least 4 years
- Robust analytical & communication skills
- Should be able to read & interpret drawings
- Should have deep knowledge about tractor mechanisms and structure
- Participate in customer visits and provide technical support
- Product development & validation expertise
- After-sales / service operations understanding
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Stakeholder management

Education - B. Tech/B. E

Experience - Similar working experience for 10-15 Years, in Diesel Engines companies

Must have exposure into –

- Product Development or testing (R&D;)
- After Sales Operations
- Project Lead exposure
