About the Role
We are looking for a creative, "hacky," and resourceful intern to help us build the base station (an IoT device to transmit data to the cloud) for BellyButton, our Bluetooth -enabled breathing movement monitor. This isn't just a coding job—it’s a role for a tinkerer who loves making hardware talk to the cloud and creating tactile, interactive experiences with lights and sound.
Key Responsibilities
- ESP32 Development: Program ESP32 modules to interface with our wearable via Bluetooth (BLE).
- Cloud Connectivity: Sync real -time data from the base station to the cloud.
- Hardware Interaction: Wire up and code peripherals including RGB LEDs (NeoPixels), buzzers/speakers, and sensors.
- PCB Design: Use EasyEDA, KiCad, or Altium to design straightforward, functional PCBs for the base station prototype.
- Vibe Coding: Leverage AI tools (Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to rapidly prototype, debug, and iterate on code.
Requirements
Who You Are
- A Tinkerer: You have a drawer full of Arduinos or ESP32s and love building physical gadgets.
- AI -Native: You don't just "know" how to code; you know how to prompt AI to build complex features quickly.
- Full -Stack Mindset: You understand how a signal goes from a sensor â Bluetooth â ESP32 â Cloud.
- Problem Solver: You aren't afraid of a soldering iron or a messy breadboard.
Skills Required
- C++/Arduino IDE or MicroPython.
- Experience with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and Wi -Fi protocols.
- Basic understanding of circuit design and PCB layout.
- Familiarity with MQTT or HTTP for cloud data transfer.
- Work on a meaningful product that impacts newborn health globally.
- Stipend (Rs. 15 -20k)
