This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about people, digital platforms, and the arts. The Community Building Intern will have an opportunity to work on an exciting new vertical at Festivals From India – Creative Careers Hub.

Creative Careers Hub by Festivals From India is a curated platform for opportunities in the arts and culture sector. It connects job seekers with festivals, arts organisations, and cultural employers across India, enabling meaningful careers in the creative industries.

This is a paid, Mumbai-based opportunity for 3 months, starting June 2025.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in creating and executing strategies to grow the Creative Careers Hub community across platforms (website, Facebook group, newsletter, online and offline activations etc.)

- Engage actively with community members by responding to queries, moderating discussions, and encouraging participation





- Support content creation for social media and newsletters focused on community spotlights, testimonials, or member updates

- Help plan and organise virtual events, Q&A; sessions, or live chats with industry professionals in the run up to CultureCon 2025

- Collect and analyse community feedback to suggest improvements for engagement

- Research best practices in community building and suggest fresh, creative ideas

- Maintain and update databases of members, applicants, and resource partners

Qualifications and Skills

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Arts Management, Cultural Studies, or related fields

- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English required; knowledge of other Indian languages a bonus)

- Familiarity with social media platforms (especially Facebook Groups and Instagram)

- Interest in arts, culture, and creative careers in India

- A proactive, people-first mindset with strong organisational skills

The selected candidate would be required to use their own laptop for work.
