What you will be responsible for:
We're looking for a Lead Data Engineer to work alongside Marketing Platform Architects, Engineers to build our personalization data pipelines, detect and investigate feed failures, as well as build and enhance the ELT capabilities of our data ecosystem.
You will work with a team of data enthusiasts, who are reaching across the Healthcare-IT-aisle to marry medical history with up-to-date marketing technology while respecting the patient's autonomy and HIPAA rights.



From day one you'll need to effectively balance day-to-day business needs with larger strategic initiatives that the team is working on and provide your expertise.
The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical skills in full stack development, and work within the overall vision and roadmap of our products. Candidate should be adept at applying his/her/their experience with a focus on problem solving and building an E2E system. Candidate should be highly collaborative and have a strong drive for high quality and engineering excellence focus

What would your day look like

- Translates business requirements into technical solutions that meet the requirements




- Monitors numerous feeds for failures using programmatic methods and proactively investigates and resolves issues
- Maintains referential integrity between data sources and systems
- Monitors and proactively identifies opportunities to clean data to improve the data match rate between sources
- Designs and operates processes that monitor data sources for anomalies and support rapid resolution for affected business processes
- Partners with subject matter experts where needed to resolve technical issues, create new processes, or design technical solutions
- Drafts solutions that are in line within technical policy and seeks approval throughout design and build.
- Retains knowledge of relevant data structures and seeks out answers by finding documentation or SMEs who can assist
- Writes and debugs clean, scalable code. Conducts code QA.
- Troubleshoots and analyze issues related to code and architecture development on their own and assist in identifying possible solutions
- Works on data structures, data layers, and data tables in support of a variety of business use cases
- Understands and supports the technical realization of department goals and the overall technical roadmap

Who we are looking for:

- 5 - 8 years of experience in technical roles, solid shipping experience
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Fluent in Data & Azure stack - Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, ADF, Power BI, T-SQL, Snowflake, Data Modelling, Visualizations, Machine Learning
- 3+ years relevant experience with
- large, complex organization managing system architecture across multiple operating systems, languages, and frameworks
- knowledge of Cloud integrations in Azure (preferred) or other cloud warehousing and both MDM and ELT process (both API and flat file integrations)
- with unstructured and semi-unstructured data

- Preferred: 2 years' experience in the digital solutions landscape and architecture including: marketing tags, web analytics, and tag management
