Job description

Power BI Developers responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights, design data solutions. Work closely with business to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) with transparent objectives and consistently monitor those. Convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide timeline to accomplish. Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models. Visual graphs creation and data documentation explaining algorithms, parameters, models, and relations. Design, develop, test, and deploy complex Power BI dashboard and manage the full development life cycle of Power BI projects, optimize performance and scalability of Power BI solutions. Proficient in DAX, SQL and perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI Analyze and optimize existing ETL process, define and design new systems. Data warehouse development and work with Power Pivot, SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS Define or optimize and make technical/strategic changes to enhance existing Business Intelligence systems. Create customize info-graphics or charts and custom calculations as per requirements SQL querying for best results, use of filters and graphs for better understanding of data Work with users and team members at all levels for performance improvement and suggestions Document process, models, designs, and solutions and able to explain, represent,



and discuss with the team. Requirements A minimum experience of 5 years working with Power BI is required. Must have sound knowledge of database management, SQL querying, data modelling, data warehousing, business intelligence, and OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) Extensive knowledge of data integration, data warehousing, modelling, business intelligence concepts. Knowledge of Power BI data sourcing, data preparation, and data modelling best practices Advanced DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) skills for complex data modelling and calculations Must be able to create data-rich dashboards, writing complex DAX expressions, and implementing row-level security in Power BI Advanced knowledge of Power BI visualization techniques, including custom visuals and visualizations Must be able to develop custom dashboard that require knowledge of scripting languages and programming languages like R and Python Deep knowledge of data design, data modelling, data management, and data visualization Familiarity with Power BI APIs and Power BI embedded for custom development and integration with other applications. Stay updated with advancements and best practices in design and development. Must be able to multitask and excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in an agile environment with a focus on continuous improvement. Extensive experience integrating Power BI with other data sources, such as Excel, SQL Server, and cloud data sources. Understanding of Power BI performance optimization techniques, including data compression and query optimization
