Department Overview
Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB) provides financial services to 21 million retail bank households and three million small business customers through approximately 4,500 retail branches, 17 customer service centers, and approximately 13,000 ATMs in 36 states and the District of Columbia. We serve and help individuals and families in many aspects of their lives, helping them buy homes, open first bank and savings accounts, buy cars to get to and from work or school, and start or grow small businesses. Team Overview - Consumer Data and Engagement Platform (CDEP)
The CDEP group works across the Consumer & Small Business Banking (CSBB), Consumer Lending, and Wealth and Investment Management lines of business to develop coordinated strategies for growth in each of Wells Fargo's customer segments. The team is responsible for designing seamless, engaging customer experiences across products and channels, and building the next-generation digital, data and analytics, and functional capabilities required to deliver toward these objectives.
About the Role
Lead Analytics Consultant role is a senior individual contributor role that supports the Customer Experience Insights & Analytics team within CDEP. As a part of this team, the Lead Analytics Consultant would work closely with US partners to analyze customer behavior & transactional data alongside experience measures such as NPS. They would help uncover key insights and recommend critical actions that allow Wells Fargo to improve its Customer Experience, across the consumer lines of businesses - Consumer and Small Business Banking (CSBB), Consumer Lending (CL) and Wealth and Investment Management (WIM). The person would work independently on project deliverables, have the opportunity to mentor/guide junior resources and will report to an Analytics Manager.
Responsibilities
- Conduct extensive CX analytics by analyzing customer behavior, transactions, experience and sentiments to help Wells Fargo uncover key rocks of Customer Experience
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique projects requiring analytical application and deliver long-term, large-scale solutions
- Draw insights on analyzed data and present the same in PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI or any other equivalent reporting tool in a visually appealing manner
- In partnership with other CX Insights & Analytics team members, use data analysis to inform CX strategies across the organization and help Wells Fargo improve its customer experience
- Leads the effort to set up a detailed process for integration of data across different sources and creates detailed documentation in accordance with business requirements for adoption and support
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to leadership on implementing cutting-edge and significant business solutions that align to the enterprise
- Engage with peers, managers risk, compliance, managers across the enterprise, and serve as an expert advisor to leadership team
- Play a key role in leading efforts on automation, dash-boarding and other initiatives to augment support towards efficiency gains
- Work closely and independently with partners (internal clients) and senior management stakeholders
- Lead, organize and participate in PAM/department-wide initiatives
- Engage with cross culture team members and stakeholders
- Ready to work across geographies (India and USA) and be available during evening/early night hours for overlap with our US partners
Essential Skills
- 10+ years of Analytics experience.
- Experience in analytical platforms: SAS, Teradata, Python, Tableau, Excel VBA, PowerBi, Informatica/Abinitio
- Strong experience in Tableau visualization. Proficient with creation of interactive dashboards using Tableau Desktop and server
- Strong knowledge of analyzing unstructured data (customer transactional data, complaints etc.)
and integrate it with structured data
- Strong knowledge of analytical concepts, tools & techniques
- Experience in data warehousing, business requirements development, ETL development, report development
- Exposure to quantitative primary market research, with focus on NPS and CX research and
- Ability to understand and analyze research data
- Hands on experience in integrating research data and customer behavior & transactional data
- Highly analytical, deeply curious about data and how to make it actionable
- Strong conceptual and quantitative problem solving skills, high attention to details and demonstrated ability to think creatively
- Ability to deep dive on data issues, resolve to the fullest, challenge interpretation, cull insights and make recommendations on facts and logics
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills
- Robust communication and writing skills with high proficiency in grammar and articulation of insights
