Title: Engineering Manager
Location: Bangalore
Primary Responsibilities:
⮚ Manage development of highly scalable ecommerce application and platform
⮚ Manage release planning and execution, deployment and production environment
⮚ Provide technology thought leadership by leading, hiring, developing and building data
engineering team and providing them technical direction.
⮚ Coordinates with business groups on solutions that add business value. Lead quick
prototypes by joining data from multiple sources.
⮚ Do advanced Business Analytics through ad-hoc SQL queries
⮚ Design Data-warehousing solutions on Snowflake and Amazon S3
Key Qualifications:
. Strong Programming experience in Languages like Python, Java,Springboot or Java Vertx Scala.
. Experience working with any cloud technologies: Amazon AWS(S3,EMR,Athena,SQS),
Snowflake, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow.
. Experience in designing and building dimensional data models to improve accessibility, efficiency
and quality of data.




. Database development experience with Relational or MPP/distributed systems such as Teradata,
SingleStore, Oracle or Snowflake. Knowledge on Mysql, Postgres, Redshift(Optional).
. Programming experience in building high quality applications, data pipelines and analytics
solutions ensuring data privacy and regulatory compliance.
. Should be proficient in writing Advanced SQLs with expertise in performance tuning handling
large data volumes
. Demonstrate strong understanding of development processes and agile methodologies
. Robust analytical and communication skills. Should be self-driven, highly motivated and ability to
learn quickly
. Experience managing Annual performance reviews, setting SMART goals for team members and
invested in team members career development.
. Familiarity with ML/AÍ technologies and methods like NLP, NLG, Automated Insights is a plus
. Strong business understanding of Sales including consumer and enterprise markets with
knowledge in Operations and Finance area is a plus.
