Data Engineer III

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer III who possesses exceptional expertise in data engineering and is capable of working collaboratively in a cross - functional team of greatly competent engineers. This individual must be able to m entor junior engineers and manage end - to - end projects with minimal guidance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing critical data pipelines that empower our leadership and key stakeholders to monitor and analyses key metrics and make strategic business decisions based on the insights derived from the data. What you'll do:

- Design, develop and maintain data pipelines to support leadership - level strategic reports for key decision making

- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide timely solutions

- Drive and own independent data engineering and BI projects right from its initiation till completion

- Collaborate with product managers and technical leads to identify and prioritize key data engineering projects and deliverables

- Collaborate with cross - functional teams including data engineers and data scientists and work with minimum guidance in a dynamic work environment

- Manage and optimize data storage solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability of our data systems





- Develop customizable and reusable automation mechanisms to reduce manual operational load

- Develop niche data solutions using cloud data services like S3, Redshift, Lambda to ease data availability to the stakeholders

- Design, develop, and maintain data models and data warehouses for critical dashboards and reports

- Develop and maintain data processing pipelin es for high volume structured and semi - structured data formats

- Monitor data solutions forany anomalies and provide solutions to rectify them

- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices and industry trends in data engineering

- Maintain da ta documentation, including data dictionaries, data lineage, and data quality metrics

Who you are:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

- At least 4 years of experience as a data engineer, with a proven tr ack record of delivering high - quality data pipelines and scalable data solutions

- Deep expertise in SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages with a strong grasp of data warehousing concepts and core ETL development

- Proven experience with extracting and storing data in relational databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc., and building data pipelines using cloud data services like AWS S3, Redshift, Lambda, RDS, etc., with the ability to identify and rectify issues as they arise

- Experience working with various data formats and sources, both structured and semi - structured, with a strong familiarity of big data and massively parallel processing tools like EMR, and PySpark

- Experience working with at least one data visualization tool, pre ferably Tableau

- Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, ECR, ECS, Docker, Spinnaker, Git hub , and other CI/CD tools

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills,

- Ability to work in an agile d evelopment environment

- Ability to work with minimum guidance in a dynamic work environment, handling tighter deadlines, unstructured requirements, and mentoring junior engineers on how to operate in such an environmen
