Job Description

We are looking for a back-end developer to join our team at our office in Wilson Gardens in Bangalore. We are a small group, and the required skills and experiences are given below. You, as the new team member, will have the support of the rest of the team for orientation with your tasks. As a small team, you will have a variety of tasks that focus on our e-commerce platform and the website at . Such tasks include participating in software integration of existing and new packages that need attention. You would also integrate various data sources into a central database and maintain the integrity of that data for other teams to work on it. Your ability to work with the team and complete tasks independently is key to the success of this role.

Responsibilities

• Work with development teams to ideate software solutions

• Design client-side and server-side architecture





• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design

• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications

• Write effective APIs

• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software

• Create security and data protection settings

• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design

• Write technical documentation

• Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software

• Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role

• Experience developing desktop and mobile applications

• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)

• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)

• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design

• Great attention to detail

• Organisational skills

• An analytical mind

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
