Job Description

ABOUT THIS JOB

The candidate will be responsible for preparing the cost for all projects and for different methodologies, communicating with vendors to ensure that they are providing “first time right” cost within the agreed SLAs (service level agreements).

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Determine and provide cost details for RFQs (request for quotation) or expanded project work with a focus on achieving the best rates available due to project requirements within necessary timelines.

- Clarify RFQ (request for quotation) specification and client requirements to understand the research purpose.

- Provide quoting services based on rate-card within the agreed SLA (Service Level Agreement) to support commercial bidding.

- Ensure internal documentation and costing system procedures are timely and accurately completed.

- Partner on the development/execution of vendor management strategy.

- Track and update the quotation costs within timelines to support project specification changes.

- Review and alert capacity / completion concerns and partner with Vendor Management on sourcing.

- Monitoring vendor billing upon project completion.

Qualifications

- Effective communication and time management skills.

- Keen eye for details on quote specifications.

- Ability to negotiate costs and terms with vendors and stakeholders.





- Able to work with a wide variety of people and establish/maintain successful business relationships.

- Manage multiple priorities effectively.
