This position is key in handling the tax consequences of global mobility and facilitating a smooth transition for employees across different countries. Your main objective is to reduce tax-related risks and costs, while ensuring that both the organization and its employees adhere to relevant tax laws.nn * Review all types of Canada or US individual income tax returns.nn * Demonstrate a high level of proficiency of tax technical knowledge.nn * Manage the engagement team -Set performance measurements and ensure that performance goals, including engagement economics, turnaround time and quality targets are met.nn * Identify and lead new services that the service line can perform at the VVN.nn * Develop, mentor, and supervise Associates u0026 Specialists.nn * Demonstrate leadership and executive presence.nn * Communicate progress and project status to all stakeholders.nn * Knowledge of the firm policies related to confidentiality and data privacy, client acceptance and engagement letters, tax return preparer guidelines and knowledge-sharing.
