- Perform and manage a full range of urological procedures including Endourology (e.g., ureteroscopy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy), Laparoscopic Urology, Open Urology Surgery, and Cystoscopy.
- Provide expert care in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney stones, including medical expulsive therapy and advanced lithotripsy techniques.
- Conduct and interpret urodynamic studies and perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate), TURBT (Transurethral Resection of Bladder Tumor), and prostate biopsies.
- Manage patients with uro -oncological conditions including bladder, prostate, kidney, and testicular cancers, including pre - and post -operative care.
- Participate in the evaluation, management, and follow -up of renal transplant recipients, including graft monitoring and complication management.
- Collaborate with nephrologists, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists in multidisciplinary tumor boards and care planning.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Engage in on -call duties and emergency urological care, including acute urinary retention, hematuria, and urological trauma.
- Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives,
and continuous professional development.
- Support teaching and training of medical students, residents, and junior staff in clinical and procedural skills.
Requirements:
- MBBS with MD/DM in Urology or equivalent postgraduate qualification from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or relevant state medical council.
- Proficiency in Endourology, Laparoscopic Urology, Open Urology Surgery, and Cystoscopy with hands -on experience in procedural settings.
- Demonstrated experience or training in Kidney Stone Management, including ureteroscopy, PCNL, and shock wave lithotripsy.
- Competency in TURP, TURBT, and other endoscopic procedures with a focus on precision and patient safety.
- Knowledge of Prostate Surgery techniques including open, laparoscopic, and robotic -assisted approaches (familiarity is preferred).
- Understanding of Uro -Oncology principles including staging, treatment planning, and follow -up for genitourinary malignancies.
- Experience in Renal Transplant evaluation, management, and post -transplant care is highly desirable.
- Robust communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills with a patient -first approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a team -based, high -pressure clinical environment.
- Willingness to participate in on -call rotations and continuous learning.
