- Supervise and manage all dialysis staff including technicians and nurses.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of dialysis machines and equipment.
- Monitor patient care and treatment quality in the dialysis unit.
- Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and hospital protocols.
- Plan and organize dialysis schedules for patients efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of treatments, patient data, and staff attendance.
- Train and mentor dialysis technicians and junior staff.
- Handle procurement of dialysis consumables and manage inventory.
- Liaise with nephrologists, nurses, and hospital management for operational planning.
- Monitor and report incidents, complications, or technical issues promptly.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives within the dialysis unit.
- Ensure adherence to legal, medical, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a senior dialysis technician, supervisor, or unit coordinator preferred
- Robust knowledge of hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis procedures
- Leadership and team management skills to supervise staff effectively
- Ability to manage operations, patient scheduling, and workflow efficiently
- Knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and hospital compliance standards
- Strong problem -solving and decision -making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, staff, and doctors
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation, patient records, and reporting
- Experience in inventory management and procurement of dialysis consumables
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting and record -keeping
- Ability to handle emergency situations and patient complications
