We are seeking a highly skilled UKG (Kronos) Specialist with 8–12 years of end-to-end experience across Workforce Central, UKG Dimensions, UltiPro, Timekeeping, Scheduling, Absence Management, and Advanced Scheduling. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in system configuration, customization, and payroll/timekeeping integrations, along with the ability to lead full-cycle implementations and ongoing enhancements for global workforce environments. This role requires a team-oriented, analytical, and solution-oriented professional who can translate business needs into scalable workforce technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end UKG (Kronos) implementations including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, training, and post-go-live support.
- Configure and optimize UKG Workforce Central / Dimensions modules for Timekeeping, Scheduling, Attendance, Absence Management, Forecasting, and Advanced Scheduling.
- Develop and maintain integrations between UKG (Kronos), payroll systems (ADP, SAP, Oracle, Workday or similar), HRIS platforms, and third-party applications using WIM, API interfaces, and middleware tools.
- Support workforce compliance requirements including labor policies, shift rules, union rules, accrual policies, overtime rules, and global regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to timecards, pay rules, accruals, system performance, interfaces, and employee scheduling conflicts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across HR, Payroll, IT, Business Operations, and external vendors to identify process improvements and drive system enhancements.
- Perform system upgrades, patches,
regression testing, and environment migrations ensuring high stability and minimal business disruption.
- Analyze workforce data to improve scheduling efficiency, decrease labor costs, enhance productivity, and support business decision-making.
- Develop documentation, SOPs, training materials, and knowledge guides, delivering training sessions to end users and technical teams.
- Act as a subject matter expert for workforce management practices and UKG product roadmap, advising leadership on best practices and future enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–15 years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting UKG (Kronos) platforms.
- Strong functional/technical expertise in Workforce Central (WFC), UKG Dimensions, UltiPro, and modules such as Timekeeping, Scheduling, Absence Management, and Advanced Scheduling.
- Proven experience designing and customizing pay rules, attendance rules, scheduling policies, and accrual configurations.
- Solid understanding of payroll processing cycles, HR operations, time compliance requirements, and workforce optimization strategies.
- Proficiency in Kronos WIM, SQL, API integrations, data mapping, and interface troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting large global organizations, managing multi-location rollouts, and working with union & non-union labor environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in software testing, UAT coordination, change management, training, and stakeholder communication.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and client engagement abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification in UKG Dimensions or Workforce Central is a strong plus.
- Experience with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM is an advantage.
- Background in shared services, HR technology consulting, or global enterprise operations.
