Job Description

We have a new approach
to getting things done and are looking to grow our design team. We're seeking
seasoned designers with a desire to address the challenges we face in enriching
the user experience, as well as to simultaneously push the limits of what's
possible in designing rich web applications. InoVVorX recognizes the critical
role of design as an equal partner to coding in the creation of high-quality
software, and our engineering team works very closely with design to realize
the best user experience possible. As part of our small team, you'll be
involved in all aspects of a features design, from talking to customers to
putting the final touches of visual design on the final product.

Responsibilities

Design complex web
applications and services

Implement web interfaces using
XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript

·
Mentor junior developers in
software development life cycle, programming practices, and career growth

·
Work closely with product and




design teams to define and deliver compelling new features and services

·
Eagerness to roll up your
sleeves and tackle the elusive, dirty problems

·
Interest in both coding and
leadership

Qualifications & Skills

·
2+ years professional
experience designing complex UI/UX intensive applications

·
Strong portfolio including
outstanding visual designs & complicated workflows

·
Skill and passion for all
portions of the design spectrum (interaction design, graphic design)

·
Deep intuition for usability,
but a willingness to let go of your instincts when proven incorrect

·
Clear communicator with the
ability to tell a story and build consensus around it

·
Ability to hand-code HTML/CSS
with ease

·
Enough JavaScript or Flash
ability to simulate the experience of your design in detail

·
Interest in visual arts
outside of UI design
