Position: Technician (Sponge Iron Division)

Our client operates an integrated steel plant in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh.

Position Summary:
The Technician in the Sponge Iron Division is responsible for operating and maintaining plant machinery and equipment, monitoring production processes, and ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain machinery such as kilns and coolers
- Monitor production processes and troubleshoot technical issues
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company regulations
- Keep detailed production and maintenance records
- Collaborate with team members on process improvements
- Train and mentor junior technicians

Qualifications and Skills:

- ITI / High school diploma (technical certification preferred)
- 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in the steel industry
- Technical expertise in sponge iron production processes
- Familiarity with safety standards and industrial protocols
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Robust communication and teamwork capabilities
