Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer responsible for defining and managing system-level requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and overseeing system verification and validation activities. The role involves working closely with product owners, engineering teams, and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery of integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and document system-level requirements, identifying and assessing applicable ISO/IEC standards.
- Develop and maintain system architecture documentation and interface definitions.
- Create and maintain a Requirements Management Plan, outlining the structure and traceability of:
- Customer Requirements
- System Requirements
- Interface Requirements (including third-party hardware)
- Software Requirements
- Hardware Requirements
- Verification & Validation (V&V;) requirements





- Establish and maintain transparent ownership of requirements and deliverables between internal teams and external partners.
- Maintain the product risk management file, including risk management plans, system hazard analysis, and risk reports.
- Oversee compliance testing activities and provide guidance on applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop system verification plans, test protocols, and reports, and conduct end-to-end system testing.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineering teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Work with hardware engineers to define reliability testing scenarios and ensure appropriate validation coverage.

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong experience in systems engineering, requirements management, and system architecture documentation.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC standards and compliance processes.
- Experience in risk management, hazard analysis, and system verification & validation (V&V;).
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with video processing systems in operating room (OR) environments or similar high-reliability systems.
- Familiarity with medical device systems, imaging systems, or complex hardware-software integrated environments.
- Experience collaborating with hardware and software engineering teams in regulated industries.
