The Curriculum Reform team's core focus is to advocate for and deliver high -quality resources to attain
Foundational Learning at scale. The team comprises of subject experts across English, Tamil, Math, Science
and Social.
In this role, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Consistently researching and building a strong understanding of the chosen domain (Social Science) on your areas of expertise and experience.
- Design and develop high -quality curriculum and instructional materials (teacher handbooks,
student worksheets, textbooks, and assessments) for Classes 1–5, grounded in clear learning
progressions.
- Integrate effective instructional practices and high -impact teaching strategies into content
design and translate these into actionable guidance for teacher training and ongoing
classroom support.
- Designing comprehensive processes, frameworks and guidelines in alignment to the M&E;
standards for the State and internal content team and overseeing adherence to it during the
creation & implementation cycle.
- Creating exemplary content materials based on best practices adhering to Madhi standards
and co -creating content with the State to ensure best practices are followed.
- Consistently build rapport with the state Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and state officials of
all cadres towards adoption of Madhi’s key advocacies.
You will thrive in this role if you:
- Have had teaching experience. Have experience with early grade education, assessments,
curriculum design,
or instructional design.
- Have exceptional planning skills and set a high bar of excellence for yourself and your team.
- Have prior experience working with government stakeholders.
- Have a keen interest in pedagogy and strive to read and research extensively on it.
Prerequisites include:
- 5+ years of experience in curriculum design/teaching.
- Proven ability to craft and create high -quality early -grade teacher and student resources.
- Robust government and stakeholder management skills, including co -creation and
acquiring approval from subject -matter experts Familiarity with Tamil Nadu’s school ecosystem
- Project Management and quality control, ensuring timely content delivery.
- Proficiency in Tamil is desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel (occasional) and willingness to work on -site (Chennai)

- Remuneration: 10 LPA to 12 LPA
