We are looking for a skilled Structural Engineer with a strong background in structural design and analysis, particularly for solar mounting systems. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in U.S. building codes, structural modeling, and collaborative project execution. Experience in the solar energy sector is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Structural Design & Engineering

- Design and analyze structural mounting systems for commercial and industrial solar projects.
- Customize engineering solutions to suit diverse environmental and site-specific conditions.
- Develop and maintain structural models to support design automation and optimization tools.

Technical Expertise & Tool Development

- Maintain and improve structural design tools and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards including AISC, ACI, IBC, and ASCE.
- Interpret wind and seismic reports and incorporate specific jurisdictional requirements into designs.

Project Coordination & Collaboration

- Collaborate remotely with Engineering Services and C&I; teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Provide technical consultation on product applications and system configurations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, third-party engineers,



and permitting authorities as needed.

Training & Support

- Conduct technical training sessions and webinars for internal teams to enhance understanding of products and design methodologies.
- Support cross-functional collaboration through transparent and effective communication.

Required Skills & Experience:

Experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural engineering.
- Experience with solar structural systems is preferred.

Technical Knowledge

- Proficiency in structural materials such as cold-formed and hot-rolled steel, aluminum, and concrete.
- Strong understanding of relevant building codes and standards (AISC, ACI, IBC, ASCE).

Software Proficiency

- Required: Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD.
- Preferred: STAAD (for structural analysis), Visual Basic, or other custom structural modeling tools.

Communication

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical discussions, coordination, and training.

Project & Cost Management

- Ability to manage engineering deliverables with attention to project timelines, cost efficiency, and stakeholder alignment.
