Education - Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science, Digital Media, Information Technology or related fields, AWS/Cloud platform certification is highly desirable, Python scripting or general scripting skills are a plus

Key Responsibilities -

• Understanding of hybrid (Cloud/On-Prem) media workflows to effectively operate and optimize content delivery including B2B pipelines to enhance operational efficiency for linear and on-demand content.

• Experience of planning and execution of high concurrency events i.e. Sports, Shows etc. with various stakeholders and vendors.

• Drive end-to-end streaming metrics, maintain video streaming KPIs across platforms, and provide operational reports to leadership.

• Provide operational support during key events and actively participate in the war room and act as the operations SPOC.

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues reported during internal war rooms or through cross-functional collaboration with RCA closure.

• Develop SOPs and train the team to prevent recurring Issues. • Experience in handling the team to get the assigned task done.

• Drive operational excellence by proactively managing technical hurdles in streaming, transcoding, packaging and content security. Enhance observability to ensure seamless delivery across platforms

• Collaborate effectively with leadership, frontend, backend, SRE, DevOps, and other teams to communicate progress, address challenges, and drive continuous improvements.

• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify potential roadblocks and enhance the viewer’s experience.

• Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies.

• Create detailed event plans, technical documentation, and post-event reports, including performance analysis and lessons learned.





• Understanding of advertisement delivery workflow and associated metrics.

• Improve the efficiency and reliability of our VOD and Live workflows through automation Technical Expertise:

• Strong understanding in cloud video processing platforms and media services.

• Deep understanding of video standards and streaming protocols to effectively manage playback quality and efficiency.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across the delivery stack, including CDN, DRM, CMS, and diverse player frameworks.

• Experience with OTT workflows for content streaming including ad techs (SSAI, DAI, CSAI)

• Experience with industry observability and ticketing tools.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
