nn## u2022 Identify bottlenecks across the software stack. nn## u2022 Tune system parameters (CPU frequency governors, scheduler settings, memory management parameters) to achieve the optimal balance between performance and power/thermals. nn## u2022 Triage and debug complex performance regressions using profiling tools (Systrace, Simpleperf, Ftrace, Snapdragon Profiler). nn## u2022 Develop and maintain automation scripts/tools to track performance metrics and catch regressions in CI/CD pipelines.nn## u2022 Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Systems Architecture, Hardware Design, Power, Thermal, and OS (Linux/Android) teams to resolve architectural bottlenecks. nn## nn## Job Description nn## nn## Responsible for Android system performance optimizations. nn## Design, develop, and implement Linux/Android performance framework, driver, and optimization solution based on Qualcomm middle and low tier mobile chips.nn## Includes but not limited to: nn## Develop system performance optimization features on Linux/Android platform. nn## Design and implement new APIs for performance SDK. nn## Write unit tests. Analyze, debug and resolve issues for common Android performance areas like Launch latency/Scroll/Animation etc. and internal performance modules. nn## Support competitor analysis on system performance KPIs and performance related features. nn## Work closely with other technical team and provide support from performance perspective. nn## Collaborate with multiple teams on various areas such as power, camera, display, video etc. nn## Skills /Experience Required: nn## Experienced on system performance issue analysis and performance optimization. nn## Positive expertise on Android/Linux framework or driver development. Good programming skills, such as C/C++, Java, and Python etc. Good knowledge on ARM SoC/CPU architecture. nn## Ability to schedule, organize and coordinate projects in high efficiency with teamwork. nn## Good problem solving u0026 analysis skills, communication skills and strong enthusiasm to learn. nn## nn## Skills /Experience are plus: nn## Experience in Browser u0026 Web engine internals is a plus. Understanding of the JavaScript engine, DOM rendering pipeline, and compositor thread behavior is a plus.
