We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join our growing engineering team and help build scalable, high-performance backend systems. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust microservices using Java and Spring Boot, while working closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable and secure solutions at scale.

You will play a key role in architectural decisions, performance optimization, and building distributed systems that handle high traffic and large data volumes. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Build and manage microservices-based architectures with a focus on scalability, resilience, and performance
- Implement asynchronous and event-driven systems using Kafka
- Work on multithreaded and concurrent programming to optimize system performance
- Design and optimize data storage solutions using PostgreSQL and Redis for caching and high availability
- Deploy and manage services on AWS, leveraging cloud-native services and best practices




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver end-to-end features
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best engineering practices
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural planning
- Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues to ensure system reliability
- Continuously improve system performance, security, and scalability

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2–7 years of hands-on experience in backend development
- Strong proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring, Spring Boot)
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience working with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, or similar services)
- Good knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning
- Hands-on experience with Kafka for messaging and event streaming
- Experience using Redis for caching and performance optimization
- Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, system design, and design patterns
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Agile development practices

Valuable to Have

- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to system monitoring and observability tools
- Knowledge of security best practices in backend systems
