This role is ideal for a fully handsu2011on technical leader who can lead a small team to deliver best-in-class user experieince and who is passionate about delivering measurable performance and power improvements on production systems using upstream Linux.nnKey Responsibilities:nnDrive performance optimization for Armu2011based Embedded u0026 Edge devices, and lead and mentor a small team to deliver bestu2011inu2011class system performancennBoot optimizations to meet product demands across Robotics, Action Cameras, and other embedded and edge devices, including bootu2011time reduction, robustness, and debug.nnProductu2011specific useu2011case optimizations driven by real workloads, profiling, and endu2011tou2011end system analysis.nnMemory optimizations and performance tuning, including memory allocation behavior, pressure, fragmentation, and latency analysis.nnOwnership and delivery of overall product power and performance KPIs, including measurement, tuning, and regression prevention.nnMentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews, design documentation, and architectural discussions, while remaining primarily handsu2011on.nnRepresent the company in upstream Linux and openu2011source communities through technical contributions, discussions, and patch reviews.nnEnhancing and supporting userspace resourceu2011manager frameworks to enable effective power/performance tradeu2011offs.nnRequired Qualifications:nn13+ years of experience in Linux software development, with a robust focus on Arm architecture.nnDeep understanding of Linux kernel and operatingu2011system fundamentals, especially scheduling, memory management,



and power management.nnProven experience upstreaming patches and working with the Linux software community.nnExperience with schedu2011ext based schedulers.nnStrong debugging skills using tools such as ftrace, perf, kgdb, crash, kernel logs, and related tracing tools.nnStrong analytical skills to identify and resolve systemu2011level performance and power issues.nnPreferred Qualifications:nnExperience with virtualization (KVM) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).nnContributions to, or maintainership of, Linux power, performance, or thermal software.nnKnowledge of firmware interfaces (UEFI, ACPI, Device Tree) and bootloaders (Uu2011Boot).nnMinimum Qualifications:nnBacheloru2019s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.nnORnnMasteru2019s degree in Engineering in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field and 7+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.nnORnnPhD in Engineering in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.nn4+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Rust, Python, etc.nn6+ years of work experience in linux system performance analysisnnMinimum Qualifications:nnu2022 Bacheloru0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. nOR nMasteru0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. nOR nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science,
