Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Performance & API Testing Engineer to ensure our SaaS platform is scalable, reliable, and high-performing.
This role is beyond execution - you will run tests, monitor systems, derive insights, and recommend actionable improvements to engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute performance tests using JMeter or similar tools

- Simulate real-world workloads and monitor system performance (latency,



throughput, resource usage)

- Analyze results, identify bottlenecks, and suggest improvements to Dev teams

- Perform API testing using Postman and automation tools

- Build and maintain API test suites and integrate with CI/CD pipelines

- Improve API coverage including edge cases and negative scenarios

- Collaborate with Dev, QA, and DevOps teams for performance tuning and issue resolution

SME Expectations

- Act as a go-to person for performance and API testing

- Provide clear insights, not just reports

- Suggest practical improvements for performance and API reliability

- Bring new ideas to enhance API testing coverage and effectiveness

Basic Qualifications

- B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science or IT (mandatory)

- Strong proficiency in Java (mandatory)

- 4–6 years of experience in Performance Testing and API Testing

Core Skills

- Hands-on experience with JMeter

- Robust experience in API testing using Postman

- Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices

- Ability to analyze performance metrics and identify issues

- Basic scripting/automation experience (Java/JS/Python)

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools

- Experience in SaaS or cloud environments
