We are seeking a Senior Operational Risk & Controls Strategist to enhance our organizational risk posture and build a resilient internal control environment. In this role, you will work closely with business and functional leaders to evaluate processes, identify vulnerabilities, and drive data-backed improvements that reduce operational exposure and support informed decision-making. The ideal candidate brings hands-on risk management expertise, strong analytical acumen, and the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and actionable manner.

What You’ll Do

- Assess operational workflows to identify risks, control gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement remediation and mitigation strategies aligned with compliance and governance standards.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover patterns, assess risk exposure, and support strategic insights.
- Create detailed risk documentation, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Guide teams on control design, process enhancement, and risk best practices.
- Partner with internal stakeholders including operations, audit, compliance, finance,



and technology to drive control effectiveness.
- Support periodic reviews, risk assessments, and governance cycles to ensure continuous improvement.
- Translate technical risk findings into business-friendly language and drive alignment across teams.

What You’ll Bring

- Proven experience in Operational Risk, Internal Controls, Risk Strategy, or Governance roles.
- Robust analytical and data-driven mindset with proficiency in Python or similar analytics tools.
- Expertise in risk frameworks, control methodologies, and compliance standards.
- Ability to transform complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across technical and business teams.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities.
