The Senior Linux Engineer is a valued member of the Coretek team responsible for responsible for delivering expert-level support for Linux operating systems, with a specific focus on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES), maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise-level Linux systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring system reliability and uptime by managing file systems, performing OS patching and migrations, and responding to high-priority incidents.

- Provide senior-level Linux OS support, specializing in SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES)
- Extend and manage Linux file systems and volume groups
- Create and maintain mount points for applications and services
- Perform OS patching and migrations using zypper (including service packs and full OS upgrades)
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-down situations and kernel-level issues
- Provide Tier 3 Linux support during and after business hours as part of an escalation rotation
