Job Title: Senior Executive – Financial Reporting & Compliance
Location: Koramangala, Bangalore
Department: Finance & Accounts
Job Type: Full-Time (Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Experience Required: 4+ years
Skill set: Accounting principles, standards, and practices, book closure, reconciliations, and financial reporting, Tally Prime, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and ERP-based SaaS platforms, GST, Income Tax, PF, PT, Fixed Asset Register (FAR)
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced finance professional to join our Finance & Accounts team as Senior Executive – Financial Reporting & Compliance (FRC). The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, organizational skills, and a sharp eye for accuracy. This role will be responsible for ensuring financial integrity, managing statutory compliances, supporting audits, and providing critical financial insights for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Accounting & Book Closure
- Manage daily accounting tasks including recording transactions, validating invoices, and payments.
- Ensure accurate monthly book closure, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
- Statutory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to GST, IT, PF, and PT regulations.
- Provide accurate records to the Compliance team in a timely manner.
- Record Keeping
- Maintain well-organized physical and digital financial records.
- Support annual and interim audit processes with structured documentation.
- Audit Support
- Assist internal and external auditors by providing documentation and clarifications.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Bank & Vendor Reconciliation
- Regularly reconcile bank and vendor statements.
- Address queries promptly and maintain strong relationships for smooth financial operations.
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare accurate financial reports to support business decision-making.
- Fixed Asset Register (FAR) & Cost Centre Reporting
- Maintain accurate FAR data and ensure audit readiness.
- Track capital expenditure (CapEx) by cost center to support structured reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CA-Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
- Proficiency in English and Malayalam (read, write, and speak).
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and statutory regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Tally Prime, and ERP-based SaaS platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with auditing protocols and financial reporting.
