We are looking for a senior backend engineer to join our team in India. As one of the founding members of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping our product and engineering culture.
What you will do
- Build Finn AI, the first AI-powered wealth manager.
- Develop and maintain the core backend infrastructure of the Finvest platform for wealth management, trading, and discovery.
- Push the boundaries of engineering as we build solutions for money management, using AI and data to make complex finance easier for everyone.
- Work closely with frontend engineers and the rest of the founding team to build exceptional user experiences.
What you are good at
- Have 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer developing and deploying productive-level backend systems
- Fluent in Node/Typescript, Python, Postgres, and AWS
- Proven ability to architect complex distributed system
- Experience with performance and optimization problems and eagerness to both diagnose and prevent these problems
- Comfortable taking ownership from start to finish, build recent systems from scratch, and iterate quickly in a startup environment.
