Calix provides the cloud, software platforms, systems and services required for communications service providers to simplify their businesses, excite their subscribers and grow their value.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Oracle’s MRP parameters to ensure the material requirements plan correctly supports the supply plan.
- Communicate material requirements to suppliers using purchase orders.
- Communicate out of cycle increases and supplier’s supply response.
- Direct suppliers build plans and priorities.
- Validate suppliers supply response based on their Material Explicit to Build, capacity utilization plans, and qualification schedules.
- Analyse and prioritize gaps to material requirements and scheduled shipments.
- Escalate constraints and facilitate their resolution.
- Communicate supply availability, lead times, and material liability inside calix.
- Perform ad hoc material liability analysis.
- Drive process improvements and tool development in support of delivery.
- Collaborate closely with various cross-functional customer service, demand planning, supplier management, and engineering services teams.
- Validate demand signals through monthly forecast to ensure suppliers receive accurate, actionable demand.
- Monitor product‑level backlogs and collaborate with suppliers to prioritize and allocate constrained materials,
minimizing supply risk and revenue impact
- Own end‑to‑end supplier commitment, shortage, and risk management to ensure supply continuity and revenue protection across current and future quarters.
- Govern BPA, PO approval, release, and change management to ensure pricing accuracy and system integrity.
- Streamline and semi‑automate recurring operational processes to minimize manual dependency and improve execution reliability
- Own end‑to‑end CTB (Clear‑to‑Build) reporting and analysis to identify component constraints, quantify revenue and forecast impact, and drive timely risk mitigation with cross‑functional teams
Qualifications:
- Engineering graduate or Bachelor's degree in supply chain or equivalent
- 5-8 years of practical experience in a supply and/or demand planning role
- Knowledge of high volume/low cost and low volume/high-cost planning methods
- Highly proficient in Excel, Oracle ERP
- Able to get to the root cause and resolve complex planning topics
- Passionate about automating or outsourcing tactical, transactional work
- Excellent written and oral communication skills tailored for all audiences
- Team player, agile, and results oriented, with a bias for action
