- Lead the end -to -end mechanical execution of equipment installation, alignment, and commissioning activities.
- Develop and implement detailed execution plans, schedules, and resource allocations for equipment -related tasks.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
- Conduct site inspections, technical reviews, and risk assessments to ensure equipment integrity and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Manage vendor and contractor performance, including review of shop drawings, material submittals, and as -built documentation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues during installation and commissioning phases; recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and engineering standards, including ASME, API, and ISO codes where applicable.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical reports, progress updates, and close -out documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and field personnel.
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure equipment readiness for long -term performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field.
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in mechanical equipment execution within industrial or process engineering environments.
- Proven track record in managing equipment installation, alignment, and commissioning for large -scale projects.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, turbines, valves, and piping.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Experience with QA/QC processes, HSE compliance, and regulatory standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.).
- Excellent problem -solving, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to work in cross -functional teams.
- Willingness to travel and work on -site in Vadodara and other project locations as required.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in fast -paced environments
