We are seeking a Senior Payment Engineer to join our core engineering team. This is a hands-on role dedicated to building ultra-low-latency infrastructure for real-time settlements across both fiat and crypto payment rails. You’ll work in a fast-paced, high-impact setting, tackling complex backend challenges at the intersection of finance and technology.

If you have experience developing high-speed financial systems, integrating payment gateways, or working with blockchain-based transactions, you’ll thrive in this role.

What You’ll Do

- Design, build, and maintain real-time, event-driven payment systems using NestJS and NodeJS.
- Integrate with both fiat payment systems (UPI, card networks) and crypto platforms (Ethereum, Polygon).
- Architect for scalability, fault tolerance, and ultra-low latency using Kafka, Redis, and PostgreSQL.




- Collaborate closely with product and infrastructure teams to deliver features from concept to production.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and team mentoring.
- Continuously enhance performance, security, and reliability of backend services.

What We’re Looking For

- 4–6 years of experience building production-grade backend systems.
- Strong expertise in NodeJS/NestJS and asynchronous system design.
- Proven background in payment systems, financial platforms, or crypto protocols.
- Solid understanding of distributed architectures and data modeling.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and AWS.
- Strong focus on performance optimization and security best practices.

Nice to Have

- Experience with smart contract development or Web3 technologies.
- Previous work in fintech, payments, or crypto infrastructure.
- Exposure to high-frequency trading systems or payment compliance frameworks.
