The suitable candidate will primarily be responsible for supporting the firm’s regulatory reporting obligations. The position requires a sound understanding of regulatory reporting requirements, robust organizational skills, an attention to detail and ability to interact across a range of stakeholders.
Principal Responsibilities
- Member of a team that monitors the firm’s regulatory reporting obligations. This will include:
- MiFID II trade and transaction reporting
- MAS trade & valuation reporting
- Support exception & rejection management
- Assess on a continuous basis regulatory reporting risk, and introduce or enhance controls as required
- Assist with the resolution of failed, inadequate or missing controls
- Assist with the documentation and implementation of processes and procedures for monitoring compliance across transaction reporting regimes
- Remain current on the regulatory reporting landscape
- Ensure the Operations department is fully compliant with regulatory requirements at all times.
Qualifications/Skills Required
- Proven understanding of regulatory reporting obligations and their impact on Operations
- Good knowledge of financial instruments across equities, fixed income and commodities
- Knowledge of SQL, Alteryx & Tableau
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Advanced MS Office skills, including Excel PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to manage a range of stakeholders
- Good team player with a strong willingness to participate and help others
