Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (SSE) with strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, and Data Warehousing concepts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that transform raw data into meaningful insights to support business decision -making.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data preparation, data gateway, and data warehousing solutions.
- Develop visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI Desktop.
- Connect to various data sources, import and transform data for business intelligence purposes.
- Write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance.
- Build Analysis Services reporting and tabular models aligned with warehouse standards.
- Apply strong understanding of Data Warehouse (DWH) concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Implement Row -Level Security (RLS) and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
- Create advanced DAX queries and calculations for data analysis.
- Translate business requirements into impactful data visualizations and reports.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance optimization across BI solutions.
Required Skills & Expertise
- 6+ years of hands -on experience in Power BI, SQL, and Data Warehousing.
- Robust experience with the Microsoft BI Stack (Power BI, SQL Server, SSAS).
- Proficiency in SQL programming and query writing.
- Expertise in DAX functions and advanced calculations.
- Solid understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehouse architecture.
- Experience in building tabular and reporting models.
- Strong analytical and problem -solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills.
- Experience working in enterprise -level BI environments.
- Exposure to performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Agile project execution experience.
