- Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical assessments for infants, children, and adolescents.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions including respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disorders, developmental delays, and congenital anomalies.
- Perform routine growth and development monitoring, including tracking milestones, nutritional assessment, and early intervention referrals.
- Administer and maintain records of all recommended vaccinations and immunizations in accordance with national and institutional guidelines.
- Respond promptly and effectively to pediatric emergencies, including respiratory distress, trauma, seizures, and critical illness.
- Provide specialized care in NICU/PICU settings, including neonatal resuscitation, ventilator management, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
- Deliver explicit, empathetic parent counseling on child health, nutrition, behavioral development, and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up -to -date electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
- Participate in hospital -wide quality improvement initiatives, case reviews, and clinical audits.
