Positions Title: Network / Server Infrastructure Analyst

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

Shift: 2 PM to 11 PM

Summary: The Network / Server Infrastructure Analyst is an experienced IT professional with

5–7years of progressively responsible experience supporting complex, global

technology environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced proficiency

across AWS cloud services, Microsoft and Linux server administration, VM support,

database operations, and enterprise networking. This role requires the ability to

manage, optimize, and troubleshoot AWS and on-premises server infrastructures while

delivering reliable support for database platforms and network systems. The analyst will

ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operations across all assigned technologies.

Responsibilities

Cloud Computing / AWS

• Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, storage,

networking, IAM, security groups, and monitoring.

• Automate recurring tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or AWS-native tools such as

Systems Manager and Lambda.

• Ensure robust cloud security posture through patch compliance, access control,

vulnerability remediation, and audit readiness.

• Monitor system health and cost metrics, proactively identifying opportunities for

performance tuning and cost optimization using AWS CloudWatch.

• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity configurations using native

AWS services such as Backup, Snapshot policies, and cross-region replication.

• Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to ensure seamless

integration of cloud services with on-premises and hybrid environments.

Microsoft Server and On-Premises Support

• Administer, support, and optimize Windows Server environments, including Active

Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and core server roles.

• Administer and support Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 environments, including

mailbox management, distribution groups, policies,



and service configurations.

• Manage security, compliance, and retention settings within Exchange Online and

Microsoft 365, ensuring proper access controls, DLP policies, and audit readiness.

• Lead system patching and lifecycle management across Windows and Linux servers

to maintain stability and security.

• Support on-premise Domain Controllers, maintaining AD health, replication,

authentication, and GPO management.

• Support and administer Windows-based print servers, including queue management,

driver updates, and issue resolution.

• Perform server performance monitoring and tuning, optimizing usage in both cloud and

on-premises systems.

• Troubleshoot complex server, system, and infrastructure issues, working

collaboratively across teams and vendors.

• Maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, build guides,

runbooks, and standard procedures.

• Provide operational support for Linux systems, including patching and basic

administration.

VMware, Storage, and File Services

• Manage and troubleshoot VMware vSphere environments including ESXi hosts,

vCenter, clusters, and virtual networking.

• Perform VM deployments, performance tuning, snapshot management, and capacity

planning.

• Administer and monitor Pure Storage FlashArray/FlashBlade environments, including

provisioning, snapshots, replication, and system health.

• Perform storage firmware updates and ensure high availability, low latency, and data

protection.

• Administer and support Nasuni cloud file storage including edge appliance

management, share provisioning,



performance monitoring, and cloud sync operations.

Database Support

• Administer, monitor, and support Microsoft SQL Server databases across

development, test, and production environments.

• Perform SQL Server patching, updates, and regular housekeeping tasks such as index

maintenance and statistics updates.

• Conduct performance tuning and query optimization to address bottlenecks and

improve overall efficiency.

• Provide day-to-day database operational support, including incident management and

service requests.

• Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies, validating restore procedures

to ensure data integrity.

• Monitor growth, capacity, and resource utilization, ensuring scalability and availability.

• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams for deployments and

configuration changes.

• Maintain accurate database documentation and operational runbooks.

Network Support

• Knowledge of Cisco switching environments including VLANs, trunking, STP, and

routing.

• Support Meraki wireless networks, including AP deployment, RF optimization, and

dashboard configuration.

• Maintain and administer SD-WAN solutions to ensure efficient and reliable site

connectivity.

• Support site-to-site VPNs for branch locations and remote user VPN connectivity,

including troubleshooting and authentication support.

• Monitor and analyze network performance metrics, identifying degradation trends and

improvement opportunities.

• Maintain and support global WAN infrastructure to ensure availability, performance,

and security.

• Perform network health checks, firmware updates, and standards-based configuration

maintenance.

• Collaborate with security teams to maintain firewall rules, compliance controls, and

network access policies.

• Document network diagrams, configurations, and procedures for operational use.
