We are seeking an experienced Management Consultant with a solid background in Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) to join our Mumbai-based team. This role is designed for professionals who bring a blend of strategic thinking, analytical depth, and execution capability to help financial institutions navigate transformation, growth, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and deliver consulting engagements for banking and BFSI clients across strategy, operations, digital transformation, and performance improvement
- Conduct market research, financial analysis, and benchmarking studies to support strategic recommendations
- Develop business cases, financial models, and implementation roadmaps for transformation initiatives
- Drive process re-engineering, operating model design, and cost optimization programs
- Support regulatory compliance reviews, risk assessments, and governance framework improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional client teams to ensure seamless execution of initiatives
- Facilitate workshops and presentations for senior stakeholders and executive leadership
- Track project milestones, manage deliverables,



and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth, customer acquisition, and digital enablement
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge development within the practice

What Makes You a Great Fit

- Minimum 6 years of experience in management consulting or strategy roles within Banking / BFSI
- Strong understanding of banking operations, lending, payments, treasury, risk management, and regulatory frameworks
- Proven experience in digital transformation, process improvement, or large-scale change programs
- Solid analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
- Experience working with senior stakeholders, CXOs, and cross-functional leadership teams
- Strong problem-solving skills with a structured and hypothesis-driven approach
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
- Exposure to fintech ecosystems, emerging technologies, and innovation in financial services is an added advantage
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred
