Position: Lathe Technician (Rolling Mill)

Our client, an integrated steel plant in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, is seeking a skilled Lathe Technician to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of lathe machines in the Rolling Mill unit.

Responsibilities:

- Operate, monitor, and maintain lathe machines for productive production
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with lathe machines
- Set up and adjust machines to meet production requirements
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe workspace
- Manage inventory and order spare parts as needed
- Mentor junior technicians on lathe machine operation and maintenance

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent with expertise in operating lathe machines
- 3+ years of experience in a steel manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of lathe machine functions and ability to interpret technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of safety standards
- Time management, organizational skills, and ability to work in challenging environments
- Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to dynamic production needs
