Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.nn## This role in summarynnAs a Lab Engineer, the individual is expected to work in the Refrigeration Lab. He should take care of day-to-day activities and perform hands-on testing. He should cooperate with the Lab supervisor and Manager in moving the lab and team to a new level of performance comparable to other reference labs located in other countriesnn## Your responsibilities will includenn * Good technical awareness and clarity about basic concepts.nn * Good communicationnn * Plan daily activities u0026 ensure execution of work.nn * Should handle Equipments, calibrations as per schedule.nn * Preparation of Test Reports.nn * Discussion with the project team and planning the testing activities.nn * Should handle Breakdown and Preventive maintenance of lab equipment.



nn * Hands-on experience in testing Refrigerators is preferable.nn * Maintaining the documentation as per ISO 17025:2017nn * Should support Lab Supervisor for Lab Improvements.nnnnn## Minimum requirementsnnEducation: B.Tech - Mechanical/ElectricalnnExperience: 2-5 years of experience nn## Preferred skills and experiencesnnTechnical:nnCore Responsibilities and Testing Executionnn * Execute tests according to established laboratory procedures and methodologies with minimal supervision.nn * Monitor ongoing tests to ensure all requirements are met.nn * Setup and build products and test fixtures.nn * Support Associates in test execution to meet project timelines.nn * Plan the schedule for ILC (Internal Lab Capability), MSE (Material Science Engineering) testing, and Preventive Maintenance in the monthly calendar, coordinating with internal stakeholders (customers).nnnnnData Management, Analysis, and Reportingnn * Record, prepare, and evaluate test data and results to generate comprehensive lab reports.nn * Monitor and analyze test data before reporting results to customers.nn * Communicate with customers for any necessary clarifications regarding test results.nnnnnEquipment and Lab Maintenancenn * Monitor and maintain test equipment and test setup conditions as required.nn * Check monthly/weekly plans and execute maintenance of lab equipment and consumables.nn * Carry out intermediate checks on critical equipment to prevent functional errors.nn * Monitor inside and outside environmental conditions of the respective labs per standard/NABL requirements and escalate issues to seniors for corrective action.nn * Identify risk areas in validation, lab equipment, and supporting systems,



and take necessary actions.nnnnnContinuous Improvement and Problem Solvingnn * Possess a continuous improvement mindset.nn * Identify problems, articulate the root cause, and propose solutions.nn * Collaborate with the Lab Supervisor and Lab Team to generate ideas for lean efficiency.nn * Work with CI Engineers to move from idea generation to implementation for 5S/Safety and lab efficiency.nn * Apply 5S principles and drive continuous improvement in 5S/Safety within the labs.nnnnnDocumentation and Knowledgenn * Maintain documentation as per NABL requirements (e.g., Internal Audit, MRM, Measurement Uncertainty).nn * Prepare test procedures, work instructions, and develop understanding of new standards.nn * Possess good knowledge of various testing standards (e.g., IS1476, IS15750, IS17550).nn * Have knowledge of tested products and Whirlpool processes.nnnnnSkills and Trainingnn * Possess analytical skills for effective problem-solving.nn * Have knowledge of troubleshooting critical equipment in case of breakdown.nn * Train technicians to perform tests according to testing standards.nn * Maintain effective communication with stakeholders for project execution.nnnnn## What we offernnN/Ann## Additional informationnnMANAGERIALnn1\.
