Position: Junior DevOps Engineer (Fresher)
About the Role
We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer (Fresher) who is eager to learn and build a career in DevOps and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of DevOps concepts and a strong interest in automation, cloud infrastructure, and up-to-date deployment practices.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and supporting Linux -based systems and environments
- Use Git for version control and collaborate with team members using GitHub or GitLab
- Support application build and deployment processes under guidance
- Assist in containerizing applications using Docker and deploying them using Kubernetes
- Help monitor and troubleshoot basic infrastructure and application issues
- Support CI/CD pipelines and assist in automating routine operational tasks
- Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments
- Maintain basic documentation for processes,
configurations, and workflows
Requirements
Must -Have Skills
- Experience of Linux terminal commands
- Understanding of Git and version control concepts
- Familiarity with GitHub or GitLab repositories and workflows
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts
- Knowledge of containerization platforms (example: Docker / Kubernetes / nomad)
Good -to -Have Skills
- Knowledge on CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or others
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes through projects or labs
- Networking certifications or coursework (CCNA or similar)
