We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Architect to join our IT team and support the Enterprise Architect (EA) in designing, documenting, and implementing the company's IT architecture. You will gain valuable experience working on real-world projects while contributing to the development of a secure and scalable IT infrastructure.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer science engineering/ECE/EEE , IT or MCA, MSc Computer Science

Responsibilities:

Assist the EA in gathering requirements from business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.

Participate in architecture workshops and meetings to document discussions, design decisions, and key considerations.

Create and maintain architecture artifacts, including diagrams, flowcharts, and system descriptions, using industry-standard tools.

Conduct research on emerging technologies and their potential impact on the IT architecture.

Support the EA in developing and maintaining the enterprise architecture roadmap.

Assist with the development and implementation of IT standards, policies, and procedures related to architecture.





Configure and manage basic architectural components as assigned by the EA.

Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and trends in IT architecture.

Perform other duties as assigned.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE

Overall 8+ years of IT Experience in the following technical skills:

Cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) -preferably in AWS

Compute/Container/Orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, Lambda/Serverless etc.)

Microservices & multi-tier architectures

DevOps/CI/CD (GIT/Bitbucket, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Sonar) GitLab is preferable

Java (Core & EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud) & Python

RDBMS systems sucah as MySQL , Postgres and NoSQL, Storage Technologies (S3, EBS etc.)

API – GraphQL, REST, API Gateway

Integration and events/messaging technologies (Kafka, RabbitmQ, SNS, SQS)

Caching Solutions such as Elasticache/Redis, Hazelcast, EHCache

Observability and monitoring (Dynatrace, Cloud Watch, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog)

AWS solution architect certification is a Plus

Very valuable understanding on Agile software releases and hands-on

Experience in project management tools like JIRA
