The Head of IT will lead and manage all technology functions, including applications,


data systems, enterprise platforms, cybersecurity, network management, IT


governance, and digital innovation. The role will drive organization -wide digital


transformation, strengthen systems to support scale, and enable data -driven decision -


making aligned with APD’s mission.


Requirements

Education & Experience


 Bachelor’s/Master’s in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related


field.


 10+ years of progressive IT experience with minimum 3 years in a leadership


role.


 Proven experience in leading digital transformation and enterprise -wide


systems integration.


 Experience in implementing and managing CRM, HR, financial systems, and


program -related applications.


 Exposure to cloud environments, cybersecurity frameworks, and data


governance.






 Prior experience in the development / social impact sector is an advantage.


Technical Competencies


 Positive knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud environments, networking, and


administration.


 Familiarity with databases, reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics platforms.


 Understanding of cybersecurity standards and IT governance best practices.


 Knowledge of AI -driven tools, automation, and data insight platforms (preferred).


Behavioral Competencies


 Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.


 Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.


 Sensitivity to disability inclusion and diversity.


 Ability to manage multi -stakeholder, multi -location environments.
